Project Name:  Tour of Homes

Materials Needed:  Refreshments and people willing to open their homes to visitors at Christmas and volunteers to meet/greet/direct traffic.

Approximate Cost and How Many Items Produced:  Cost is for refreshments.

Instructions:  The Friends group advertised the Tour, chose four homes to showcase and were the official hostesses.  Tickets were $10.00 and refreshments were also available at the library.  This works really well in an older town with stately homes, although we did a new suburb and people loved the tour.  Approximately $5,000 is raised which is almost pure profit for very little work.  The people showcasing their homes do all the work!
