Project Name:  Easter Bunny Photo and Basket Raffle

 

Materials Needed:  Easter Bunny Suit, Photographer, Photo Background plants, Raffle tickets, Receipt books

 

Approximate Cost and How Many Items Produced:  Ticket Roll - $10.00  Newspaper Ad - $65.00  Bunny Suit - $366.00  Photographer - $100.00 = Total Cost $541.00

 

Revenue:  $1,108.00 - 541.00 = $567.00

 

Instructions:  Length of production time - One month to organize volunteers and publicize.  The charge for each 5 X 7 photo was $7.00.

The photographer set up in the library parking lot and brought much of her own background materials including lattice, plants.  We recruited a local nursery to loan flowering plants and greenery.  Other items were loaned for the event.  Teenagers took turns wearing the bunny suit from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The photos were delivered to the library and available for pick-up within 4 days.

Easter baskets were assembled and put on display to be raffled.  Raffle tickets were $1.00, some being sold prior to the event, but most being sold the day of the event. We look forward to minimal cost next year for this event because we own the bunny suit which is also used at storytime.
