Project Name:  Christmas Angels

Materials Needed:  Christmas tree angels that can hold a book ornament, Stationery, Book Plates, Dedicated Volunteer

Approximate Cost and How Many Items Produced:  Unknown because the primary volunteer donated the time, materials, and made the angels which were about 8" tall with porcelain faces and lace gowns.  Stationery and book plate costs are low.

Instructions:  Send out flyers on your mailing list and distribute all over town.  For $15.00, a patron can have their name put on an angel and a bookplate in a children's book.  After Christmas, the funds were used to purchase children's books and the bookplates were inserted with patrons names.  Each patron who participated received a letter informing them which book was purchased with their donation.  Approximately $3,000 is raised annually with this project.

Many people used this as "Secret Santa" projects for sororities, Lions Club, Rotarians, etc.
