Project Name:  Ongoing Book and Magazine Sale

Materials Needed:  Donated books, magazines, display rack, money box, and rubber stamp

Approximate Cost and How Many Items Produced:  No cost, except for the rubber stamp, as all items were donated

Instructions:  The Friends of the Library in Seguin started an ongoing book and magazine sale in the foyer of the library.  There has been no cost to the library as all items were donated including the wooden display rack.  Each donated item is stamped inside with "Gift" and a volunteer stocks and replenishes the display rack from a storage closet.  There is a wooden money box mounted to the top of the rack for freewill donations.  The last fiscal year, the sale brought in $2,190.21.  This is pure profit!
